A World-Class Tango Group
Founded in 2010, Tango Il Faut brings a fresh and distinctive voice to tango music. Their debut album Tarde de Domingo (2014), backed by the National Academy of Tango, was followed by Avanti (2017), featuring notable guest collaborations. In 2023, they released Agitando el Avispero, blending timeless classics with the energy of tango nuevo, and in 2025 they unveiled For Import, a 100% milonguero-style album with a modern edge.
Since 2014, the ensemble has toured nine times across Europe and the U.S., earning acclaim both in Argentina and internationally. The Ministry of Culture of Argentina has twice named them Artists of Cultural Interest, and their 2022 European tour was supported by the München Kultur Referat. In 2024 and 2025, they were featured in La Locura Tango Festival, one of Europe’s premier tango events.
For over 16 years, Tango Il Faut has been a vibrant force in the Buenos Aires tango scene, performing at prestigious milongas, festivals, and on television and radio. Their collaborations with renowned artists (including Sandra Mihanovich, Marita Monteleone, El Cachivache, Orquesta Típica La Vidú, Tempo Tango, Ache Rey, Julián Graciano, and Moscato Luna) have firmly established them as a dedicated and influential presence in contemporary tango scene.
